If you have a Super Why fan in your house like I do, then you probably have already seen the new episodes that started earlier this month. The big news is that a fifth Super Reader has been added to the original 4 characters. The new character's name is Woofster the dog and he has Dictionary Power. The new episode that has the debut of Woofster is called "Woofster Finds A Home". The episode description is "after meeting a cute pup who needs a family, Super Why and his friends travel through Woofster’s special storybook to help him find a home of his own – with Super Why and the reading-powered team!"
Right now you can go to the Woofster section of the Super Why page on PBS Kids to meet Woofster for yourself and watch him in action and play with him too. Your kids can also explore the dictionary with Woofster and learn some new words.
