Ideal No Calorie Sweetener is the sugar substitute that cooks & bakes like real sugar. Ideal is made primarily with xylitol (a natural sweetener found in fruits & vegetables), which is safe for diabetics, pregnant women, children & your teeth. Ideal dissolves quickly in hot & cold beverages & I found it to sweeten similar to cane sugar in my hot & iced teas! I like that ideal measures cup for cup with sugar so it is easy to substitute into recipes--just think of how easy it would be to cut calories just by switching your regular sugar to Ideal Sweetener. I also like that it also has Brown Sugar & Confectionery versions that have no added sugar, so you can truly cook sugar free. Ideal sweeteners are also Kosher & Gluten Free.
Ideal No Calorie Sweetener has a warning posted on their packaging & on their website that Ideal sweetener is NOT safe for your pets because pets cannot safely digest xylitol. I find the fact that they prominently post this warning very respectable!
