In an effort to gain Box Tops for my daughters class I made three trips to Shop in Save last week, I told my husband that he better start eating because I have enough Progresso Soup, Old El Paso and Hamburger Helper to last us months. With all my shopping it got my daughter 150 Box Tops, which I took to school only to find out that now there is a contest going on. Whichever class brings the most box tops in will get to see their teacher wear a crown for a day. You can image how exciting this is for the average student but for a three year old little girl this means her teacher will be a princess for the day! So now I am joking that my husband needs to get in the kitchen and start taking the Box Tops off all the food that we purchased last week.
For those who do not know Box Tops for Education
was created by General Mills in 1996 as an easy way to help make a
difference for kids and schools. Since then, schools have earned more
than $375 million through the program to help get the things they
need-from books and school supplies to playground equipment and
computers.
You can help Pay it Forward and make a difference in schools by clipping Box Tops from more than 240 brands, including Cheerios, Betty Crocker,
Pillsbury, Hamburger Helper, Kleenex, Ziploc, Hefty, Juicy Juice, Avery,
Welch´s, Land O´Lakes and Brita. Find out how much your school has
earned and learn other ways to earn cash for your school by visiting Box Tops For Education.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Last year I bought about 40 boxes of Hamburger Helper because they had 4 boxtops on them. Then I cut them all off the boxes before using them so we could turn them in. We turned in over 500 at one time last year. That was between my daughter (whose children are benefiting from these), my sister and myself.
LOVE IT!
