I have always colored my own hair. Granted I have never tried a major change, just wanting to cover the gray that has been taking over the past few years. I have always used Nice'n Easy, but this time I took a chance and tried the new Nice'n Easy Foam.
It mixes like any other color. The only twist to this one is that you need to shake it, three times then squeeze the bottle to release the foam for your hair. I will admit that even after reading the instructions I still wanted to use it like a pump more than a bottle that you would squeeze. Since it is a foam it is not heavy and it did go on evenly and did not drip. After the allotted time, I rinsed it out and the color was even, true to what I expected and of course covered all the gray I have. I tried it about a week in a half ago and the color is still going strong and I expect it will for the promised eight weeks.
I was at Walmart this week and saw the Nice'n Easy Foam on sale for $7.97, paired with the $3 off coupon in the 4/3 PG insert you will be able to get a bottle for less than $5, which makes coloring your own hair at home a logical option for most of us.
Be sure to take a look at the box top, on the flap you will find a little reference tab that tells you the color, brand, and leaves a space for the date you colored so you know what to buy when it is time to color again. (I live this most of all, since I have already done this is the past on my own)
Thank you to Nice'n Easy for my sample used in this review. Opinions are honest.
