I have the perfect stocking stuffer or holiday gift for parents with 2-3 children (or even more with a little creativity) who are relatively the same age--close enough in age to have disputes. It is called The Pocket Referee!

With the pocket referee--when a dispute arises--whomever has the Pocket Referee gets to choose whether they get their way in the dispute and pass the Pocket Referee or if they keep the Pocket Referee and their sibling gets to have their way, thus "saving" getting their way for something more important to them. The design of the game eliminates the bully factor that sometimes occurs, it empowers the children to settle things themselves and it teaches "deferred gratification"--something later may be better than right now!
The Pocket Referee is available as a Special Edition solid gold-tone coin that comes with its own velvet carrying pouch or an antique brass version which can each be used alone for 2 children or together if you have 3 children. The coin itself is approximate the size of a half dollar (to large to be a choking hazard) but it is a bit heavier. It has the image of the Pocket Referee on the Heads side and a treasure chest on the tails side.
The Pocket Referee was originally designed for 2 children ages 5+ (or 3 with the added antique brass coin), but with a bit of creativity you could make it work for more that 3 people. Be sure to check out The Pocket Referee website for all the details!
I think The Pocket Referee is a great product for settling disputes with much less stress on the parents. This is a must have item for every parent who has more than 1 child, especially if they are similar in age and prone to bickering!
