Kraft MilkBite Milk and Granola Bars Review

You may have noticed the new Kraft MilkBite bars in your grocer's refrigerated dairy aisle. Have you given them a try? We were given the chance to try their chocolate and strawberry varieties and they passed our taste tests with flying colors.

My family loves granola and granola bars, we frequently have them for snacks or even part of our lunches or a grab-and-go breakfast, so when I discovered the Kraft MilkBite bars were made with real milk and added calcium, which provides us with 30% of our daily recommended value of calcium (equal to an 8oz glass of milk), I was very excited! Along with all that calcuim, Kraft MilkBite bars are also a good source of Vitamin D and fiber. Each bar also contains about 5gm of protein and 7gm whole grains AND they contain NO artificial colors or preservatives!

Kraft MilkBite bars are available in 5 delicious flavors:

*Oatmeal Raisin

*Mixed Berry

We enjoyed the delicious flavor of the Strawberry and Chocolate MilkBite bars. They were soft and chewy and really full of flavor. My 5 year old is not a quick mover in the mornings and trying to get him out the door to school on time can be quite a challenge, some mornings I have cheated and grabbed something portable for him to eat on the way to school. Lately it has been MilkBite bars--fiber, protein, calcium & vitamin D, things I try to encourage in his breakfast anyway all in one portable bar, we add a banana and we have breakfast we can take in the car--no spilled milk to worry about!  I also love them for his after school snack, particularly when we need to leave straight from school to get to an activity. And they taste great so I never have any complaints when I hand him one!

We have found Kraft MilkBite Milk and Granola Bars to be a wonderful addition to our family's snack and meal plan--we get the whole grains of our granola and the wholesome goodness of a glass of milk all in one handy bar! Now we are looking forward to trying out the other varieties!
