The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child

 

My son and I are big fans of the children's book, The Gruffalo and it's sequel, The Gruffalo's Child.  We also enjoy the films by the same name, released from NCircle Entertainment and we think either or both DVDs would make wonderful additions to a preschool or young elementary school-age child's video collection. Even though they are relatively new, I think they both The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child will become classics that will be shared for generations. 

Here is the synopsis of The Gruffalo from the back cover of its DVD case:

A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood...This enchanting film tells the story of a mouse who goes in search of a nut. Along the way, he is confronted by three hungry animals who think that the mouse looks good to eat!
