Thanks to Disney Pixar for my screening invitation. Opinions are honest.
The wait is over, today is the day you and your kids can become one with your emotions. Disney Pixar Inside Out is in theaters now!
The synopsis is:
Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.
Disney and Pixar again has not failed us and has produced a brilliant movie. I am honestly not sure how creative and imaginative the people are behind these movies. This movie honestly gets you thinking about your emotions and what exactly is going on inside your own head as well as others. My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed Inside Out and spent the drive home discussing our favorite parts as well as getting into talking about the five emotions and how they affect us personally.
The movie is rated PG and runs 106 minutes. Plus, don't be late because there is a short movie before the feature called Lava which is also imaginative and a great story, but I don't want to give away any details.
