On a recent visit to the Wisconsin Dells we made a stop at the Kalahari Indoor Theme Park.
This 100,000 square foot African Theme facility is home to a 24 lane bowling alley, a six story high Ferris Wheel, countless arcade games, mini golf, food court, bar and so much more.
As we entered the Kalahari Indoor Theme Park I told our daughter we
would be able to stay two hours. My thought was to return to our hotel,
order a pizza and have an early evening since we had been going non stop
for a few days. Never in a million years did I expect us to close the
place down, or for her, or us, to have energy to play for over six
hours.
The Kalahari Indoor Park is opened to the public as well as resort guests and while attractions can be purchased individually, I suggest going with the wristband that allows kids unlimited access to most of the attractions offered. I would also like to point out that only those participating are required to have a ticket or wristband, those who wish to watch do not.

With all parks there are certain safety issues which is why it is
important to follow all rules and height requirements. Lucky for us
our daughter is 49 inches and now able to enjoy everything at Kalahari
except driving the Go Karts by herself and to be honest that is a good
thing.

What impressed me most with the property was how well it is maintained. Everything is clean, new and the most current in terms of what appeals to kids. The staff they employ are fun and enjoy working with the kids, in fact they are the ones who took the photos of us.
No matter the weather outside, indoor mini golf is among one of my favorite attractions at the Kalahari. You do not have to worry about heat, rain, wind or bugs. Their 18 hole course will challenge all skill levels.
I don't do well with black lights or things that glow in the dark, leaving laser tag to my husband and daughter, who surprisingly took the challenge very seriously. I know that over an hour was spent playing and at one point it was just the two of them against each other and while I don't know what they were up to in the room I sure heard a lot of laughing and they came out high fiving each other which makes be believe they had a great time.
While the Kalahari Indoor Park is ideal for the entire family, it is also a perfect place for Mom and Dad to sit back and relax while the kids run around and have a great time.
