Cheerios Are Now Gluten Free

Making changes in our diets for the better is something many of us strive to do. Its hard to accomplish such a big change when you can no longer enjoy your favorite foods. For many people with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease, its hard to find affordable, mainstream products that they know and love that are also free of gluten. Our favorite name in cereal, Cheerios, has made the change and now offers gluten free forms of your favorites including:
  • Original Cheerios
  • Honey Nut Cheerios
  • Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
  • Frosted Cheerios
  • Multigrain Cheerios
The Cheerios team came up with a way to sort out the grains that contain gluten from the naturally gluten free oats that cheerios are made of. Starting this month, parents with a history of Celiac Disease can feel better about sharing that first, adorable cheerios moment with their little ones, athletes can bring Cheerios back into their routines and parents can feel better about their children getting a healthy breakfast before they send them off to school in the morning. Rest assured that your Cheerios will not change, the taste, price and availability should stay the same, the only change is to the level of comfort their fans can get from enjoying their product. Simply look for the gluten free seal on the front of the box!

Cheerios is also asking that you share your stories with the Cheerios community. Tell them why gluten free matters to you at @CHEERIOS or by using the hashtag #GLUTENFREECHEERIOS.

**I received this same in the hopes I would share my honest opinions, no compensation**
