Everyone
loves a hero. Daring adventures, the pursuit of justice, and the brave
battles against evildoers! As we know, every town has its share of
evildoers and needs its share of heroes. Luckily for Bikini Bottom, in Spongebob Squarepants: The Adventures of Spongebob Squarepants, the oceans greatest heroes are here to save the day.
Whether
its the everyday hero like Patrick-Man, cleaning up Bikini Bottom one
street at a time, or Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, the legendary (and
historic) heroes being dragged back into crime fighting once again,
there is no shortage of deep-sea heroic adventures! The DVD has 113
minutes of heroic feats and features these episodes:
- Patrick-Man! - Patrick becomes Bikini Bottoms newest superhero, and cleans up the city, one street at a time.
- Mermaid Man Begins - Spongebob and Patrick are let in on their favorite superheroes big secret! Their heroic origins!
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy - Spongebob and Patrick decide that their favorite aging heroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, must come out of retirement, whether they want to or not.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II - Spongebob wins The Conch Signal from his favorite superhero show, to keep from opening stuck jars, the heroes take Spongebob along on patrol to see what crime fighting is really all about.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III - While housesitting for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Spongebob and Patrick com across Man Ray frozen in a tank! After setting him free, the friends must take over as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy to capture Man Ray and save Bikini Bottom.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV - Spongebob finds his favorite hero's utility belt and, while playing with the buttons, accidentally shrinks all of his friends! He needs to confess his mistake to Mermaid Man and ask for his help to get his friends back to normal.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V - Not wanting to be the sidekick anymore, Barnacle Boy teams up with arch villains Man Ray and Dirty Bubble to cause havoc in Bikini Bottom. Mermaid Man is unable to stop them alone so Patrick, Sandy, Squidward and Spongebob become the SuperFriends and team up with him.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy VI: The Motion Picture - When Spongebob and Patrick find out the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy movie is going to be made with young, new actors as their favorite heroes, they set out to make their own movie using the real guys fresh from the retirement home.
- Mermaid Man vs. Spongebob - Plankton has brainwashed Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy into wreaking havoc on the Krusty Krab and it's up to Spongebob and his trusty spatula to save the day!
