When I was little, I was a big fan of The Smurfs. My daughter started getting interested in them a few years back when the movie came out. She had a Smurfs game for her DS which she loved playing, so you can imagine her excitement when she got a chance to try The Smurfs for Nintendo 3DS from Ubisoft.
The description of this game is:
After a walk in the forest, the Smurfs have come back only to find their village destroyed. But what could have caused that? The Smurfs are counting on you to find out and restore peace!
My daughter really had a great time playing this game. She got into the goal of it, which is to rebuild the Smurfs' village and make it her own. There are 12 mini games to help the Smurfs in their quest and they get to meet some of the popular characters including Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Jokey, Brainy and more. Plus, some of the action includes cooking, playing music and painting so there is plenty to keep the player entertained. My husband and I had a hard time getting her to turn off the game when it was time because she really wanted to finish helping her friends, the Smurfs.
The game is rated E for Everyone. Look for it at your favorite retailer as well as on Amazon. This would make a great gift for a little gamer who is familiar with the Smurfs
