Host Your Own Holiday Mad About Plaid Party

Christmas is less an a week away, are you ready? If you are like me you are rushing to get everything organized and just wish someone would do it for you, well Chex has done just that by creating three holiday themed parties complete with recipes, party decor printables and  activities.

With three party options being offered there will be one that is perfect for your friends and family, in my case I have a child so it was the Mad About Plaid.

At our party we focused on kids and tried our hand at making Candied Pecan Chex.  I am not going to lie, our kids were a little rough on the mix when stirring so I won't be sharing that photo but I will say that they had fun measuring everything out, mixing it and waiting for it to bake.

 

Since our party was primarily for our daughter and her friends, we decided to not try the suggested liquid flannel cocktail recipe out (it contains alcohol).  I am very tempted to try it over Christmas when we have company over.  Obviously, I will leave some hot chocolate mixes out for the kids to enjoy.

 What sets these parties apart from others I have seen is that Chex has even taken the work out of figuring out how to decorate.  It was quick and simple to print these decor printables and add the finishing touches to our event.
