Cooking is part of every day life and I believe strongly in getting children involved in the kitchen.  Not only will they learn this valuable skill but I have found that when they help they feel a sense of accomplishment and are eager to try new things.

Like with everything children learn in life practice is the key and in the case of cooking that means lots of messes, but with the help of a good apron you know their clothes will be saved even if you need to hire a cleaning crew for your kitchen.

Flirty Aprons has you covered...literately with their collection of children's aprons that are so cute little girls will ask to help out.  Our daughter has two Flirty Aprons, the Very Cherry shown above and the Sadie Blue Chocolate below.   Each of these aprons is sized to fit girls ages 6-10 and ties in the back.  The ruffled skit adds a little fun while making it easy to move in.

Our daughter has been helping me in the kitchen for about six months now.  At first she was wearing a very small apron that was as she called it "for babies" but since getting her Flirty Apron she feels more confident and the best part is she does not argue with me about having to help anymore.
