Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights

Sometimes all you need for a burst of creativity is a change of scenery. For singer/songwriter Joanie Leeds, that change came six years go when she packed her bags and moved from Manhattan's Upper West Side to the artistic neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Since her move she has started a family and started a new adventure in the energetic borough, which happens to be the inspiration for her 8th album with her band Joanie Leeds & The Nightlights.

Her newest album, Brooklyn Baby! is an album containing elements of folk, southern rock, hip hop, pop, and punk. Each of her songs is about something relating to her or her neighborhood, like Brooklyn's most famous dish, and Brooklyn's mentality with love. Songs on the album include:
  • Ferry Nice
  • Subway
  • By Myself
  • Stoop
  • Library Book
  • Brooklyn Baby
  • Pizza
  • Rainbow Bagels from Outer Space
  • Love is Love
  • Shayne Punim
  • Hipster in the Making (Remix)
  • Apples in my Apples
  • Sunday Morning
Enjoy fun music and take a musical vacation to discover a new place! Brooklyn Baby! will be available for purchase after May 19th
