The Kid-E-Cover by ELICOLE LLC
is an innovative solution in the child safety. The Kid-E-Cover is an
outlet cover that replaces the standard electrical outlet wall plate
with this self closing one, preventing young children from accessing the
electrical outlet.
The Kid-E-Cover
is easy to install--it took my husband about 10 minutes max to install
it and most of that time was spent going up & down the stairs to
turn off the circuit breaker (power) before installation & then
going back to turn the power back on after the Kid-E-Cover was
installed. Be sure to read the installation & operating instructions
before implementing & follow them completely.
I like that the outlet is always closed when not in
use, when you want to use the outlet you simply pull out the tab located
on the side, align the holes & while holding it in alignment, plug
in what needs to be. To unplug the item, you simply remove the plug as
you would any other plug and the Kid-E-Cover automatically closes back
up. No more trying to remember where you put the outlet cover!
I think the Kid-E-Cover is a great product in child safety! It is always "better to be safe than sorry", but why not make safe a bit easier on you!
