The winter/ holiday season is here and so is the madness of holiday shopping and hockey games, as well as other events.  The last thing you plan for is your child wondering off and getting lost and I cannot image how awful of a feeling it must be...even if it is only for a minute.

Recently we have come across one of the smartest parenting inventions to ever hit the market.  SafetyTat, is a temporary "tattoo" that is applied to your child's forearm.  It comes in a variety of ways including one with your cell phone number printed on it or as a writable version that allows you to adjust the number depending on who your child is with. They also now have a QR version that a person can scan with their smart phone to discover the necessary emergency information.

The Quick-Stick SafetyTat is a skin-safe peel and stick "tattoo" is made of a micro-thin elastomer with medical grade adhesive that is hypoallergenic and can last for up to 2 weeks. It is opaque, vibrant and works equally well on all skin tones. Simply peel & stick (no water needed--the original version does require water to apply) then write the emergency contact info.  Removing is just as easy--simply lift the edge with a fingernail and peel off like a band-aid!

I have Quick Stick Write On! SafetyTats for my child, who can be a bit shy and doesn't always get our phone numbers correct. They are easy to apply and last in water, the sun and through showers. The come with the necessary marker.  I love these! I now have a travel pack in my purse for whenever we go to places where getting lost could be a potential--we have been known to make a last minute trip to the zoo or the mall so I always have them with me.

If you have small children you need to visit the SafetyTat website to discover more information. The SafetyTat would also be useful if you are the caregiver of a person with Alzheimer's/ dementia or other disability that would prevent them from remember how or being able to ask for help if they happen to get separated from you. The places the SafetyTat could be a lifesaver is numerous including theme parks and water parks, airports, shopping malls, stadiums, zoos, drop-off birthday parties/playdates and even the first day of school or camp.

Thank you to SafetyTat for my sample used in this review, opinions are honest, review by Michelle.
