With families spread out all over the world, we miss so much of the contact that families had yesteryear but we still long for that contact and the sound of our loved ones voices. Hallmark has been a leader in helping us connect to our loved ones both near and far with the cards, Keepsake Ornaments and other gifts. Their Recordable Storybooks are one of my favorite Hallmark items. We do not live near my child's grandparents, and earlier this year my child received one of the Hallmark Recordable Storybooks from his Grandma Mary, and it has been one of his favorite books ever since. My child loves to hear his Grandma Mary read to him and I love that he continues to know her voice and stays connected to her is such a special way through that book.
Hallmark now has several Holiday Recordable Storybooks that now not only record the reader's voice for playback reading the book but now also feature music! There are 6 holiday classics currently available, which allows loved one to participate in holiday story time regardless of the distance (kids love it just as much when mom and dad read the book to them and they can "read" it anytime, I guarantee it). The title include: Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Night Before Christmas, The Very First Christmas (English and Spanish), and A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Hallmark also has over 15 titles that are perfect for everyday, all year long. Titles such as Goodnight Moon, Counting Kisses and All the Ways I Love You (this is the one my child received from his Grandma Mary earlier this year) which make great holiday gifts all year long.
Hallmark walks you through step by step the process of recording the books, so their is no need to feel intimidated by the need to record and you can rerecord each page as needed to get it just right.
The Hallmark Recordable Storybooks make a great gift from parents and grandparents to their children and grandchildren! It also would make a wonderful gift to our servicemen and women who are deployed and away from the family--what a great way to give them a touch of home and let them hear the voices of the ones they love back home. We highly recommend these books and other Hallmark Storybooks, we haven't been disappointed yet!
