October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as Domestic Violence Awareness. I believe both of these issues need our support, where we can give it. The Avon Foundation agrees and have created items that not only raise awareness, but also support the cause by having 100% of their net proceeds being donated to their respective causes.

As you can see from the links, there are a few other items that you can purchase to give your support to either cause. You can purchase these items through your local Avon representative or through the Avon website. Most of us know someone who has battled breast cancer and finding the solution/cure is of utmost importance. And anyone who has dealt with, or knows someone who has dealt with domestic violence, knows just how important your support and awareness is to helping prevent it from occurring as often in the future. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could eradicate both, hopefully someday. Just think--your purchase, supports monetarily and when you use the item(s) (there is something for every woman--my favorite is the tennis bracelet) you show visual support and raise awareness!
