Family-oriented, multicultural, NYC-based touring band, Hot Peas 'N Butter, just released their first lullaby album, Catchin' Some Peazzz (Sony/RED Distribution, August 28, 2012). Musician Daddys, Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, draws from their own lives to create this album, which consists of both original works as well as renderings of familiar songs. Special Guests on the album include; Oz Noy, Rob Arthur and Mickey Lapidus (Danny's Dad).

This is my kind of lullaby album, it is soothing while still having rhythm and personality. I think Catchin' Some Peazzz is the perfect album to wind down to at the end of the day. Our days tend to be crazy, to I have taken to playing this for my son on our drive home from his final appointment to help him calm down to help to get ready for bed. This is a wonderful lullaby album for anyone who has children who are soothed with lullabies but are looking for something a little outside the classical/traditional box.
