Educational Insights Play Foam Review & Giveaway

For more than 50 years, Educational Insights has been a leading manufacturer in providing us with educational toys and innovative, hands-on learning experiences for homes and classrooms. They offer quality, award-winning educational products in math, science, social studies, language, language arts, reading, early childhood, Spanish, ELL, ESL teaching and classroom management. Their products invite children to explore fine motor skills, social skills, creativity, theme-based learning, imaginative play, time telling, money math and measurement.  As a parent of a child who came to us with significant development delays, I understand the importance of developmentally therapeutic toys--they made a world of difference in helping my son's development.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to check out Educational Insights' Playfoam. Playfoam is the perfect substance for promoting imaginative play while developing those fine motor skills that are essential.  This unique substance, which looks like little foam beads, somehow stick together and holds their shape when molded by little hands, the beads stick to each other, not to anything else, meaning it won't stick to the carpet, car seats or furniture--so NO MESS!!!! It is also designed to never dry out--even when left in the open air for extended periods of time--so kids can use it over and over, shaping it up and squishing it down to their hearts content! 

Playfoam is designed for ages 3+. It is made from non-toxic materials. The No Mess! Playfoam is "squishy, squashy, shaping fun" that your can take anywhere for hours of entertainment. The colors are fun and bright! Plus, the foam is quiet--so perfect for preschool play when they need to be quiet (possibly during church or at a restaurant)--all they need is a little building space and they are good to go. I think Playfoam is a great toy for preschoolers and their parents/teachers too!
