Lady Soma Skin Care

When it comes to taking care of our bodies, what we put on our bodies is as important as what we put into it. I was recently introduced to Lady Soma has created a line of products, specially formulated for the special needs of women (inside and out) using organic, natural ingredients--some of their favorite ingredients are Hyaluronic Acid, Flaxseed Oil, Kokum & Cocoa Butter, Psyllium Husks, Shea Butter and Acidophilus.

I was given the opportunity to try out some of the Lady Soma skin care line, including:

 

*Skin & Nail Treatment--designed to heal dry, cracked skin, strengthen nails and promote soft, supple cuticles, utilizing Cocoa, Shea and Kokum Butter.  This thick creamy formula, goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It smells wonderfully--sort of a cookie smell! My hands haven't been transitioning to the winter very gracefully and Lady Soma's Skin & Nail Treatment made them feel and look tons better with just one application--without burning the areas of my hands that were chapped.

*Antioxidant Berry Mask--formulated to detoxify the skin and eliminate dead skin cells, while promoting cellular renewal and collagen production, using the power of blueberry, cranberry and pomegranate.  It has a fresh berry smell and a creamy texture with only a slight grittiness. You simply apply to face and allow to remain on the face for 8 minutes, then remove with warm water using a circular motion. It left my skin fresher with less "winter" dull areas, I noticed just a slight redness following use, but it quickly faded.

*Renewal Serum--designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and scars, age spots and sun damage, giving you a more even skin tone and complexion and a healthy glow. It quickly and easily absorbs into the skin (they recommend waiting a minute before adding a moisturizer or make-up if desired). It helps to regenerate healthy skin cells using the power of Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin A.  I found it to have a subtle clean smell. It absorbed well and left my skin feeling smoother and looking healthier, even with the 1st application.

 

*Lady Mint Tingle--formulated to prevent dry, chapped lips, loaded with antioxidants to keep lips soft and supple all year long. It has a sweet mint scent and glides on very smoothly (no stickiness noted) and you could feel a slight, pleasant tingle upon application (it contains Essential Peppermint Oil).  I am a huge lip balm girl and I always have some with me, and Lady Soma's Lady Mint Tingle lip balm feels great, smells pleasant, applies smoothly and really does leave my lips feeling refreshed and moisturized.

I really enjoyed all of the Lady Soma skin care products that I have briefly tested out. I think all of these products would make a wonderful addition to a stocking or as part of a beauty gift basket this holiday season. They would also make a great gift for yourself!
