Teaching
young girls about friendship for generations, My Little Pony has been a
favorite of young girls. The ponies have been reimagined and are as
popular as ever. My Little Pony Equestria Girls is the newest generation
of ponies. Their newest full length movie, My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games, is their next amazing adventure.
The
Mane 6 were thrown into their new lives in 2013 when Twilight Sparkle's
crown was stolen and the girls followed the thief into this new world.
The girls learned the thief, Sunset Shimmer, had stolen the crown and
Twilight had to not only learn to fit in but also had to best Sunset
Shimmer in a competition to become Princess of the Fall Formal at
Canterlot High. In My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, the
girls formed a band, The Rainbooms, for the schools musical showcase.
However, a new band arrives at the school, The Dazzlings. They convince
everyone at the school to turn the showcase into a Battle of the Bands,
and Sunset Shimmer, who is no longer up to her own tricks, suspects that
they are up to something more sinister than simply winning the contest.
Twilight Sparkle is called upon to help win the battle that will help
save the entire school. Now, in the newest film, My Little Pony
Equestria Girls: Friendship Games, Canterlot High is up against their
rivals, Crystal Prep Academy in a longstanding tradition between the two
schools. The events include archery, motocross and roller-skating, and
the girls must work together to keep magic out of the games but also to
remain fair against Crystal Preps top students, who are being led by
this worlds Twilight Sparkle.
