Christmas is less than 10 days away and we are all so busy getting ready for our own celebrations that we may forget that this is also the time of year when some people may need a little extra help getting into the holiday spirit.
That is where Santa's Little Helpers come in and spread the cheer. The
question that needs to be answered is, are you willing to be Santa's Little Helper?
Last night our local Girl Scout Troop stepped up and showed they possess the 5 Sugarplum virtues which are A Cool Head Under Pressure, Humility, Cooperative Nature, Inspirational Spirit and a Kind Soul.
Before I tell you more about their experience here is a little about Fox's newest Holiday Classic:

So how did our Girl Scouts prove they are Santa's Little Helper? They visited the local nursing home and sang Christmas Carols to the residents. They also handed out cards, visited with people and posed for a few photos along the way. It a first for many of the girls who have never had a reason to visit a nursing home and the residents loved seeing children walking the halls and receiving the cards.
The girls enjoyed the experience and our Troop is looking forward to continuing being Santa's Little Helpers throughout all of 2016. In fact I think the first stop in 2016 may just be a local animal shelter.
