Fans of When Calls the Heart will rejoice in the now available on DVD season finale, Follow Your Heart. When Calls the Heart
has brought the family feel back to a television series, something that
many have noticed has been missing for a while. The show has delighted
us with its charming characters and its "power of love" feel.
When
Calls the Heart follows the story of Elizabeth Thatcher, a teacher in a
Western Frontier prairie town. In the season finale, Jack trails and
apprehends the culprit of a counterfeiting crime. Seeing Jack in all of
that danger leads Elizabeth to confront her feelings towards Jack and
she sets out to track him down. In her haste to leave, she accidentally
sets Jacks dog, Rip, loose, just as a terrible storm hits Hope Valley.
Stuck in the storm, Jack and Elizabeth seek shelter in an old mine
shaft. However, the weather wont be escaped so easily, and the old mine
shaft begins to collapse.
When
Calls the Heart brings back the "homely" and family oriented feel of
shows from our past, with a modern feel that brings the show into view
of todays younger viewers as well as the older ones. A show that the
whole family can truly enjoy, Follow Your Heart has everything your family could ask for as well as so much more.
