Music
has a way of connecting people to the world around them... more than
just the people close to them, but to their actual environment, nature,
animals, and even space beyond. Jennifer Paskow is a trained music
therapist and children's yoga teacher, and has been an exponent of
healing since she was a child, and she looks forward to the release of
her new studio CD "Make A Circle", a collection of sweet & joyful folk-pop songs that celebrate love, life, and connection for children and their families.
When
she's not recording or performing publicly, Jennifer can be found
teaching yoga to kids living in shelters, and sharing her music with
hospitalized children and their families as a volunteer with The Art of
Elysium and Musicians on Call. Jennifer has performed on the stages of
the House of Blues, Tangier, The Knitting Factory, Room 5 Lounge, The
Witzend, and Genghis Cohen. She has been lucky enough (& thrilled at
the opportunity) to sing on stage with Ringo Starr, Dave Stewart, Joe
Walsh, and Booker T for the House of Blues Ending Hunger Project that
honored John Lennon. She has performed at numerous events benefiting
organizations working towards ending violence towards women and
children, including VDAY, Sanctuary for Families in NYC, and Children of
the Night in Los Angeles. "Make A Circle" features the following
tracks:
- Make A Circle
- The I Love You Song
- On The Inside
- I Am
- Listen to Your Heart
- I Am A Tree
- Celebrate This Day
- This Little Light of Mine
- Hello Moon
- Long Time Sun
