Making
sure our children are well versed in vibrant & diverse music is
something generations today and past have made sure to accomplish. Music
made by artists like Vanessa Trein and The Jumping Monkeys

Vanessa,
who holds a master's degree in education at Harvard University, has a
lot of experience in the subject of children, she has shared her love of
music with preschool, primary, and elementary school aged children in
both New York City and Boston, and has taught early childhood music
classes for nearly a dozen years in the Boston area. Vanessa, although
grounded in the acoustic-folk genre, has managed to crisscross
effortlessly through influences like roots, pop, blues, country,
rockabilly, jazz and world genres. Her music is presented in a way that
makes it easy for kids to sing along and recall. Her recordings have won
three Parents Choice Awards, a NAPPA Award, two iParenting Media
Awards, and five of her songs have been honored with Mid-Atlantic Song
Contest Awards. Vanessa Trien and The Jumping Monkeys features: Vanessa
