A-Maze-Ing Animals

One of my favorite things to do when I was little, was to solve those little maze puzzles in coloring books. They were always super easy and had adorable animals that needed to find their way home, of kids that wanted to find their way to a piece of candy. I remember that I would race myself to see exactly how fast I could solve them, and they were never hard enough, and the books never had enough of them. Growing up it seems that there was never a shortage of word search books, or crossword puzzle books, but a piece of my inner child's dreams were missing. Okay, so that probably a little dramatic, but it isn't too far from the truth. Barron's knows how to feed your inner child and their book, A-Maze-Ing Animals, is proof of that.

As I am sure you have guessed, it is a book dedicated only to mazes. The book says "for kids" on the cover but lets all assume that you're rule breakers like me. The book features 50 fun maze puzzles that are navigated through fun colorful pictures of animals. There are mazes that will take you through a dinosaur's mouth, around a vulture's beak, and many more. The mazes are full of dead ends, illusions, and twists and turns that make the puzzles all that more challenging.

Joe Wos, the artist behind this book, started creating mazes when he was 7, and is currently the world record holder for creating the world's largest hand drawn maze! A-Maze-Ing Animals has mazes that level in difficulty from a 1, to a 5, so even the most novice of maze lovers can have fun solving them! Barron's seems to have an a-maze-ing talent for bringing fun to books for everyone!
